During Play Based Learning the children used their puppets from their Literacy work in various areas. Some wanted to build houses for their puppets from bricks, some added their puppets to the car mat and made a road for a journey and others continued their story retelling in the puppet theatre. This group made tickets for everyone in our class with their name on it and arranged seating for everyone. Some children in the House Corner provided snacks for the performance and we all sat as a class and watched the ‘Three Little Pigs’. During our plenary we discussed how we could extend this play even further and it was suggested we should charge money for the tickets. We left some plastic coins for children to add to the puppet theatre tomorrow. Fabulous thinking boys and girls 🤩🤩
