Primary 3, 4 and 5 are learning about the author Jill Murphy and her books. As part of this series of literacy lessons we are learning what synonyms are and why it is important to use them in our writing. We worked together to match synonyms and their pictures then used a thesaurus to identify synonyms for various words.
