We played ‘eggshell smash’ using cracked eggs. P1 practised their sounds, P2 practised numbers to 40 and P3 practised their place value with numbers to 100. When they knew the answer they smashed the correct egg with a spoon. Try this game at home with your used eggshells; it’s messy but really good fun for any age!
