We read the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We discussed the changes from a caterpillar into a butterfly and how each butterfly’s pattern is symmetrical. We then gathered natural items from the school grounds and arranged them into symmetrical patterns on our butterflies. We think they look amazing!
