P6/7 enjoyed a visit from Ben from Eco schools. We learned that ‘fast fashion’ is produced in some of the poorest countries of the world. Workers are paid very little money and work in dreadful conditions. This ‘fast fashion’ is sold very cheaply and quickly ends up on landfill sites.
We talked about ways that we can reduce clothing waste and how we can inspire others to reuse or recycle their old clothes.
