We have been learning about penguins. We learned that an Emperor penguin can be as tall as 48 inches. We used a ruler to measure ourselves against this height and discovered that 2 people in our class were the same height as an Emperor Penguin! We also found out that male penguins look after the egg while the female hunts for food. We pretended to be daddy penguins and waddled across the floor making sure our egg didn’t fall onto the ice! It was trickier than it looks!
