Do you know what length some dinosaurs actually were? Do you know how many children are the same length as these dinosaurs? Do you know how many footprints are the same size as a life sized T-Rex footprint? We do!!

We used a measuring tape to measure the actual length of  T-Rex (6m), Apatasaurus (21m), Triceratops (9m), Plesiosaur (4.5m) and a Velociraptor (0.5m). Then we lay down along the line to investigate how many of us are the same length. Our whole class still wasn’t as long as the Apatasaurus so Mrs Hanvey had to join our line 😀

Inside, we found out how many footprints covered the surface area of a life sized T-Rex footprint by placing our shoes on the cardboard cutout. 26 of our feet are the same size!
