Mr Kinnen has been teaching P4&5 why the River Nile was so important for Ancient Egyptians and indeed for modern life in Egypt. Today we learned about a shaduf and how it was used to irrigate their crops. We enjoyed working together to create our own shaduf using sticks, plasticine, string and a yoghurt pot.
